Albert Horne is Chorus Master & Conductor at the Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden (Hessian State Theatre of Wiesbaden) in Germany. He obtained a Masters Degree in Music from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, studying conducting with Maestra Sian Edwards. In 2012 he was Chorus Master for George Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess with the 
Berliner Philharmoniker, conducted by Sir Simon Rattle, at the Philharmonie in Berlin. He was Chorus Master and Conductor for Cape Town Opera from 2007-2014, and under his leadership the Cape Town Opera Chorus was voted Best Opera Chorus of the Year by an international panel of judges at the inaugural International Opera Awards in London in 2013.
